This Privacy Policy explains how Okos Völgy Kft. ("we", "us") processes personal data when you visit okosvolgy.io or contact us through the website. We act as the data controller.

2. What data we process and why

Contact form. When you send a request, we process your name, your email address, the text of your message and the date and time of submission. We use this data only to reply to your request and, if you wish, to prepare an offer. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Anti-spam check. To protect the form against automated abuse, we temporarily store a pseudonymised, irreversible hash of your IP address for up to 24 hours. It is used only to limit repeated submissions and is not linked to your request. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records technical data for each visit (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) to operate and secure the server. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Please do not send us special categories of personal data (for example, health data) through the form.

3. How long we keep your data

• Contact requests: up to 12 months after our last communication with you, unless a contract is concluded, in which case we keep the data for as long as the law requires.
• Anti-spam data: up to 24 hours.
• Server logs: according to our hosting provider's retention schedule, usually no longer than 30 days.

4. Who receives your data

We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for marketing. Your data is stored and processed by our hosting and email provider, HOSTINGER, UAB (Švitrigailos str. 34, LT-03230 Vilnius, Lithuania), which acts as our data processor under a data processing agreement. Your data is stored within the European Economic Area.

If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, the message is processed by WhatsApp Ireland Limited under its own privacy policy.

5. Cookies, analytics and third-party content

The public website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or embedded third-party content. Fonts and images are served from our own server. Only the password-protected administration area uses a strictly necessary session cookie.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access your personal data and receive a copy of it;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased;
• restrict the processing of your data;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• object to processing based on our legitimate interest.

7. Complaints

If you believe that we process your data unlawfully, you can contact us first at info@okosvolgy.io. You may also take your case to court.

8. Security

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to stored requests and regular updates.
